About me
I'm Chinonso, a product designer drawn to the small decisions that make something easier to understand, use or enjoy. I like untangling complicated things, questioning what we've come to accept as normal, and finding simpler ways forward. To me, good design is a form of care: anticipating what someone might need and paying attention to the details they shouldn't have to think about.
My curiosity often takes me beyond screens. Lately, I've been thinking about how we experience cities — especially Lagos — and how something as ordinary as a well-placed sign can change how we move through them. I'm interested in the ways design shapes everyday life, including the things we barely notice until they don't work.
I'm deeply inspired by beauty and fashion. They shape how I see almost everything — proportion, texture, restraint, the way something feels before you can explain why.
I moonlight as a budding, occasionally struggling artist, and document my experiments on Instagram through omcz: (o)ut of (m)y (c)omfort (z)one. It's where I'm learning to make things without needing to be good at them first, follow an idea without knowing where it will lead, and let curiosity take up a little more space.
